Everything was smooth right from the start. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about transportation. The trip was comfortable, and the guide was great. Seeing the Badwater Basin in person was amazing. I only ever saw it in photos, so being there felt great. The Furnace Creek Visitor Center was another highlight. I learned so much about the desert. I also had no idea that the hottest place on Earth was there. If you’re looking for a fun day trip from Las Vegas, I recommend this one!
What a great day trip! I always wanted to visit Death Valley and am so happy I finally did. I really liked exploring Rhyolite and the other ghost towns. It’s crazy to see the old buildings still standing. Walking through Devil's Golf Course was unlike anything I’ve seen before. The landscape was so unique. Traveling with a small group made it easy to ask questions. I could also get good photos without feeling rushed. Dante’s View was great, and I got the best photos there! Definitely check out this tour if you want to visit Death Valley. It's so worth it!

How did Death Valley get its name?
Death Valley got its name from a group of unlucky gold miners called the Bennett-Arcane Party. In 1849, they were traveling from the East to California’s gold fields. They got lost in the desert while following the Old Spanish Trail. Trapped and starving, some stayed at Travertine Springs. Others walked for days to find help. A month later, the survivors returned. Sadly, some had already died from hunger and exhaustion. As one of the lucky survivors left the valley, he reportedly said, “Goodbye, Death Valley.” That phrase stuck, giving the valley its haunting name. It still warns visitors of its tough conditions today.
