Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually learned a fair amount on the tour haha. It is super spooky, don’t get me wrong. The story about the ghost of Mr. Petri was terrifying! But a lot of the Vegas ghosts are connected to the mafia, which makes sense, so you also get a mini history lesson. Plus our guide Hannah was just such a good storyteller. She also curated the tour based on what the group voted, which I thought was cool. I’d recommend the tour to any supernatural lover. You won’t regret it!
Might make me sound like a jerk, but I was happy there weren’t any kids haha. The Las Vegas Ghost Tour touches on a lot of gory subjects like massacres and murder. I really liked that we could be frank. The night time atmosphere was super cool also. My mother jumped a little bit, but she never felt uncomfortable. Our guide was great at scaring people, but still making sure they’re enjoying themselves. I also liked walking around - was nice to see a side of Las Vegas that’s not just the strip!

DISCOVER THE GHOSTS OF LAS VEGAS’S CRIMINAL PAST
We’ll begin outside The Mob Museum, where your guide will explain the most infamous artifacts. For example, the original bricks from the wall of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. And the scary part is that visitors have heard screams and gunfire when near it! Others even felt sick to the point of nausea. In other museum sections, visitors have also seen creepy shadows and experienced cold spots. After this spooky stop, your guide might lead you to Block 16. This is Las Vegas’s former red-light district. As such, plenty of people have reported unexplained noises and banging in the night. Who knows what nefarious spirits are seeking their revenge here!
LEARN ABOUT HAUNTED HOTELS AND WAREHOUSES
Another possible site is Binion’s Casino, part of the Hotel Apache complex. Benny Binion, who ran the site, was known for his ‘vicious streak’. He punished cheating gamblers and even ordered kills. Today, strange events happen in his casino. In room 400, the REM Pod once went off at 3:30 am and lights started flickering. In room 356, a ghost appeared in a photo of the bathroom mirror. As your guide will tell you, these spooky visitors are supposedly the ghosts of Binion’s victims. You might also visit the Clark County Bridger Building. This space used to be a courthouse, and the vengeful ghosts of the prosecuted are said to haunt its grounds.
LISTEN TO TALES OF SIN CITY’S FAMOUS APPARITIONS
Your guide could also show you the Las Vegas Academy of Arts - where one of the city’s most well-known ghosts appears! Students and teachers have reported seeing Mr. Petri: the ghost of an old teacher. He’s been known to hush people, and sit in the theatre while students practice. He’s always wearing a suit and tie. The other infamous apparition you’ll learn about is “Fat Irish” Green. He’s been sighted at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino, and was a notorious henchman of mobster Bugsy Siegel. This ghost appears with a suitcase full of illegal cash. Irish reportedly delivered the money after Siegel’s death and was allowed to stay at the hotel for free - for life!
