This was such a generous tour! The food portions were HUGE. It’s impossible to stop eating because everything is just so delicious. I had an amazing time. My favorite was definitely the loaded nachos. I love that cheesy-chippy combination with an extra kick. The gelato was also to die for. Half-way through the tour I had to stop myself from eating everything. I wanted to make sure I have enough room for the next stop! Highly recommend it. Jeff was also very pleasant to speak to. He made everyone feel comfortable in a nice, relaxing atmosphere.
I loved the variety on the tour. My son is a little bit of a picky eater. However, whenever there was something he didn’t like at one place, the other place won him over. He picked the beans out of his taco lol, but still loved the meat and salad inside. And he ate at least half of the pub bites. A win in my books! He - well, we, really - also liked our guide Trish. She joked with him a lot and made him feel comfortable, and she was a great Las Vegas storyteller. I learned a lot from her, and she really made everyone on the tour feel at ease.

DINE AT CITY’S BEST CELEBRITY EATERIES
The food scene of Las Vegas is famous for the delicious recipes by celebrity chefs. And that’s exactly where you’ll start your tour! Your first stop is the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, where you’ll sample elevated pub cuisine. For example, loaded short-rib Irish nachos and various gourmet pub bites. The next stop is GIADA - here, you’ll get your sweet fix with hand-crafted ice cream. Choose between a creamy gelato or a boozy sorbet. After that, you’ll head to Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar, where you’ll try his Koreatown street-style taco. This tasty dish is a wild fusion of Mexican and Korean cuisine.
LISTEN TO THE HISTORY OF LAS VEGAS
You’ll then go on a short walk towards Downtown Las Vegas. As you stroll down the Strip, your guide will teach you the city’s past. The city was originally a small railroad town and water stop between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. There was a fort which was used for storing supplies. However, that all changed in 1931. Nevada legalized casino gambling, and construction of the Hoover Dam began. These activities caused an influx of workers, and the city’s economy boomed. But it’s only after World War II, as your guide will tell you, that the casino business flourished. That’s when the city became the metropolis it is today.
ENJOY DELICIOUS ITALIAN CUISINE
Your next stop is Buddy V's Ristorante. This Italian eatery is owned by Buddy Valastro, who you might know from the show Cake Boss! All his dishes are inspired by the women of Buddy’s family. For example, you’ll eat crispy eggplant parmesan, which is a dish his wife makes. The other meal is Grandma's signature meatballs - the name speaks for itself! Finally, you’ll end your Las Vegas Food Tour with a special treat: our Secret Dish! The Secret Dish is our signature meal, and a surprise until the very end. There’s only one thing we can reveal: it’s absolutely delicious!

Do you know what Las Vegas’s signature dish is?
A shrimp cocktail! A shrimp cocktail is shelled, cooked shrimp served in a glass with a cocktail sauce. The dish became popular in the late 1950s in Las Vegas more generally. However, it was the signature dish at the Golden Gate Casino on Fremont Street. The casino would sell as many as 2,000 shrimp cocktails per day! They were also very cheap, at no more than 99 cents. In time, the shrimp cocktail became widely associated with gambling and casinos. As such, it is today Las Vegas’s unofficial signature dish.
